HB 25-1249 Security Deposits
Effective 2026

HB 25-1168 DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND ABUSE
Effective 2025
A tenant is not guilty of unlawful nonpayment of rent if caused by or resulted from qualifying violence and the landlord has been notified (police report, protection order, self-attestation, or third-party letter). Mandatory Repayment Plans: Upon notice, landlords must offer a repayment plan within three business days. Minimum payment: 25/month up to 9 months. No fees, interest, or penalties allowed. HB 24-1098 NO-CAUSE EVICTION

Non-pay – allowed.
